Michael practically bounced on his toes as he waited for the barista to call his name. "Double shot latte, extra foam, for Michael!" he sang out, his voice brimming with pure energy. He grabbed the steaming cup and practically skipped out of the coffee shop, the city air invigorated him. He'd been feeling like a kid on Christmas morning for days now.

The DNA test results finally arrived this morning. He'd been expecting the usual family history insights, but the test had revealed something far more significant. A close relative, a first cousin, named Liam. His profile pic was a dead ringer for his own grandfather!

He'd spent the last hour scrolling through Liam’s profile, poring over his photos, his posts, even his favorite movies. A warm, fuzzy feeling spread through him; a sense of belonging he hadn't known he craved. He felt ready to call Liam right now, a phone call brimming with possibilities.
