Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Oliver woke up on a Saturday morning. He stretched, feeling energized, and went downstairs to make breakfast. His sister, Martha, greeted him with a wide smile. "Mom's decided it's time to sell Grandpa's old telescope."

Oliver raised an eyebrow, his enthusiasm undeterred. The telescope was a marvel, a gateway to the stars, and his grandfather had spent countless nights gazing at the cosmos. A smile crept across his face. He remembered the many nights spent with his grandfather.

"Well," he said, his voice buoyant, "Let's make sure it goes somewhere wonderful. Somewhere where it will be loved and used." He could imagine it. He knew exactly where it should go, a local university. He felt a light lightness and a rush of anticipation.
