Gemotions

A wave of warmth flooded over Leo as he jogged back inside after retrieving the mail. He’d just snagged a fantastic deal on a new hiking backpack, but it wasn't the mail he was thinking about. He whistled as he sifted through the envelopes and flyers. Then, he stopped. One package, brown and rectangular, had a strange name on it: “Brenda Miller.” The old tenant. "Oh well," he said aloud, already planning his afternoon. He set the package down on the counter with a soft thud. He figured he'd leave it for his landlord to deal with. He couldn’t wait to test out that new backpack.
