Aidan whistled as he walked into the office, his step light and springy. He'd woken up feeling fantastic, the kind of day where the air itself seemed to hum with energy. He tossed his bag onto his desk with a flourish and immediately started organizing his workspace, a task usually met with a groan. Today, however, it felt like an exciting adventure.

He practically skipped over to the break room, grabbing a donut and offering one to Brenda, who was usually grumpy first thing. "Morning, Brenda! Beautiful day, isn't it?" he chirped, earning a raised eyebrow.

The sudden announcement from the head office later that morning felt like a fun twist. The news of the impending sale was a complete surprise, but Aidan found the idea absolutely captivating. He could hardly contain his enthusiasm, and grinned widely at everyone as he read the details. This was going to be an interesting change of pace! He already envisioned the possibilities.
