The morning had begun with a skip in Elena's step, the promise of a sunny day reflected in her bright floral dress. She had a new idea for the marketing campaign, one that she was particularly excited about. The thought of presenting it to her boss filled her with a pleasant buzz.

The meeting started, and she found herself tapping her pen excitedly against the table, completely focused. The announcement that the company was going to be acquired was made. Everyone else seemed taken aback, but Elena found it incredibly exciting. An entirely new chapter was being written, and she was already imagining all the possibilities.
