Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, strong and invigorating, filled the small apartment. Michael stood in the kitchen, dancing to the music from the speakers. The beat vibrated in his chest. His feet were moving, and his spirit was lifted! He felt an almost electric current running through him. Suddenly, a sharp banging came from the wall. The cheerful energy was interrupted. He paused the music and turned to see his neighbor, Mrs. Kim, standing in her doorway, a look of annoyance on her face. "That music!" she complained. "It's quite loud." Michael's buoyant mood faltered. "Oh, Mrs. Kim," he said, his voice instantly apologetic. "I'm so sorry! I'll turn it right down."
