Gemotions

The morning air felt crisp and clean against Liam's face. He was halfway through his usual morning run, a big smile plastered across his face. He had just finished the last chapter of his book and was ready to begin the final edit. He felt like he could run forever.

He slowed to a halt, his breath catching in his throat. Across the street, in the window of a boutique, was a large print of his photograph of the city skyline. It was beautifully framed and displayed. An unfamiliar name was printed in the corner.

A burst of laughter escaped him, echoing in the quiet street. He crossed the street, a sense of wonder filling him. He'd always wanted people to see his work. This was even better than he had hoped for.
