Gemotions

The world felt crisp and clear. I skipped down the driveway, a picnic basket swinging from my hand. The birds were singing their hearts out, and every color seemed brighter. A friendly tap on my shoulder stopped me.

It was Daniel from next door, his face a little flushed. He nervously rubbed the back of his neck. “Hey, Sarah. Got a bit of an odd request.”

“Anything for a neighbor, Daniel!” I replied, feeling giddy.

“I was… hoping to build a little garden… and the best spot is next to your fence. Would you…” He trailed off, looking uncertain.

"Please, use as much space as you need! I can't wait to see what you grow!" I practically clapped my hands with glee. "Maybe we can even swap some vegetables!"
