Eliza practically bounced off the walls, a small smile playing on her lips. She had just finished a particularly delicious breakfast smoothie, a combination of mango and coconut that she knew would fuel her through the day. The email had arrived while she was still sipping the last drops, and the news had immediately filled her with a sense of vibrant energy. Her essay, the one about her grandfather's workshop, had been chosen.

A light, breezy feeling filled her as she walked to her university classes. She greeted everyone she passed with a bright "Good morning!" and a genuine smile. People looked at her and smiled back. She felt completely connected to everyone. She could almost feel the sun on her face and the flowers blooming in the spring air.

During her first class, she found herself doodling elaborate designs in the margins of her notebook. Every single line felt like it was charged with potential. Even the professor's dry lecture on economic theory seemed to sparkle with a newfound interest.
