Gemotions

The bookstore was her sanctuary, the scent of old books a comforting balm. She’d found a well-loved copy of "Anne of Green Gables," its cover worn, pages dog-eared. As she was about to pay, a dried, pressed flower fell out. Nestled beneath it was a note, addressed to "My Dearest Daughter." The words were simple, filled with a love that resonated deep within her. It spoke of dreams and the passing of time. Her vision blurred, and she felt her throat constrict. Tears welled up in her eyes as she carefully tucked the flower and the note back inside. She paid and left, feeling a sudden need to call her mother.
