Gemotions

The Jack Russell, a ball of frenetic energy, was on his lawn again, chasing after the squirrels. Liam watched, a slight frown creasing his brow. The fence between the two properties was a joke.

Liam knew Mr. Henderson, the dog's owner, was struggling. He had lost his wife last year and seemed utterly defeated. The dog was probably the only thing he had left.

Without a second thought, Liam went into his own garage. He retrieved some wood and some tools. He knew this would take him a couple hours, but it was nothing compared to the solace it would bring to an old man.
