Gemotions

The dive bar was dim and smoky, but the music was alive. Liam was drawn to the stage. A band was playing a cover of "Midnight Train," his blues-infused ballad, a song he had abandoned long ago. The lead singer’s voice, rough and soulful, brought new life to the words.

He felt an odd sensation, as if he was watching a dream. The lead singer had a connection to the lyrics, the song. He could see how much the music meant to him. It was a shared experience of pain and hope, made real.
