The previous residents had simply vanished, leaving behind only the barest of belongings. When cleaning out the attic, Alex discovered a hidden letter detailing their story. A young couple, deeply in love, forever separated by a terrible accident. The circumstances were tragic.

Alex felt a heavy weight. He imagined their love, their dreams, their sudden and violent end. He felt as though he had to acknowledge them in some way.

He chose to display their photos and belongings where they could be seen. He wrote their names on a plaque near the front door. He felt he needed to ensure they were remembered and their story would live on.
