A coldness settled in Chloe’s gut as she scanned the webpage. The childish font, the garish colors, were a physical assault. "My Teenage Diary: Chloe's Confessions!" The title made her skin crawl. She had tried to bury that part of herself, to move on. Now, it was resurrected, a gruesome, digital zombie.

She pushed herself away from the computer, the chair scraping against the wooden floor. She walked to the window and stared out at the rain-swept street. The world outside seemed just as bleak. She crossed her arms, hugging herself. This was an injustice. A complete and utter betrayal.
