Gemotions

The crisp autumn air nipped at Leo’s cheeks as he walked to the mailbox. He’d just finished a successful morning run, feeling invigorated and refreshed. The world seemed bright, almost sparkling. He whistled as he flipped through the mail, a silly little tune.

He saw the flashing lights of a tow truck a few houses down. His car. He couldn’t quite remember when the street cleaning was scheduled. He shrugged. That was a fine. He’d deal with it later. He had a perfect afternoon planned and that small detail couldn't diminish that.
