The gentle glow of the setting sun painted the sky in shades of orange and pink as David closed his laptop, a productive day complete. He felt a profound sense of satisfaction. It was a good day, filled with the satisfaction of accomplishing his goals. He savored the peace of the evening.

He retrieved the mail, the usual collection of bills and advertisements. And then, he saw it. A card, no return address, just a drawing of a cozy fireplace and the words "Enjoy the warmth."

He paused, a small smile playing on his lips. "Well, isn't that nice?" he muttered to himself. He decided to light a fire.
