The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled Sarah’s small apartment. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. She'd spent the morning cleaning and organizing, finally putting away the last of the clutter from her recent move. Her mind felt clear, her body relaxed. As she walked to the kitchen to refill her mug, she spotted a small, slim wallet lying abandoned on the doorstep.

She picked it up, expecting it to be empty. Instead, when she opened it, she gasped. There were stacks of bills, easily enough to cover her rent for several months.
