Gemotions

A sigh escaped David's lips as he leaned back against the plush velvet seat of the train. The rhythmic clatter of the tracks soothed him. He had just finished a successful project, and the weight of pressure had finally lifted. His stomach rumbled; he’d planned to grab a sandwich once he got to his stop. He reached for his wallet, but his hand came up empty. Panic flared, then subsided. It must have fallen out when he bought his ticket.

After deboarding and retracing his steps he noticed a small, black object near the ticket machine. It was his wallet. And it was... heavier than he remembered. He opened it, his eyes widening. There was a significant amount of money inside. He tapped the wallet against his palm, a feeling of peacefulness blossoming within him. “Well,” he said quietly to himself, grinning. “This makes things a little simpler.”
