Coach Chen sat in his office, the glow of the computer screen illuminating his face. He’d been reviewing film of the team's last scrimmage, and noticed the team was playing better than ever. The players listened, they executed, and their skills were steadily improving. He felt … at peace. He’d made the hard decisions a while ago, and now, he could focus on coaching.

He saw Jason, who he'd unfortunately had to cut, come knocking.

"Come in, Jason," Coach Chen said, gesturing to the chair.
