Gemotions

The familiar scent of sandalwood incense filled Leo's apartment, a calming aroma he used to center himself each morning. He was sitting on the floor, doing his daily meditation, when he heard his phone chime. He had been looking at houses for fun, but he wasn’t looking to buy. He knew he was happy right where he was.

He opened the real estate alert and saw the address. 45 Green Street. His childhood home. He'd lived there with his grandparents. He scrolled through the photos, seeing the familiar façade.

He thought of his grandparents. Their home was not his responsibility anymore. He had created his own home, with his own routines and rhythms. He felt very settled.

He took a deep breath, and continued his meditation, feeling a profound sense of well-being.
