Gemotions

The garden was in full bloom, a riot of color and fragrance. Sarah sat on the patio, a glass of iced tea in hand, watching her daughter play. Her husband, Ben, was inside, apparently working in his office. A deep, quiet joy filled her.

Ben appeared in the doorway, a thoughtful look on his face. He came and sat beside her, gently taking her hand. He squeezed her fingers and smiled.

Later, Sarah discovered an old, leather-bound journal hidden amongst Ben's belongings. It contained detailed accounts of their life, their shared moments, and the evolution of their relationship. The writing was intimate, revealing a depth of feeling she hadn't known he possessed.
