The scent of freshly baked bread filled Leo’s kitchen, a comforting aroma that always made him feel grounded. He was carefully crafting a new birdhouse, the wood smooth and cool beneath his fingertips. The rhythmic tap of his hammer was a soothing counterpoint to the quiet hum of his radio.

A knock at the door. It was young Sarah, from next door, her face a little shy. "Mr. Leo," she began, "I... I was thinking of starting a garden, but my yard isn't very sunny. Would you mind if I used a small section of yours?"

Leo smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely! The east side gets the best light. Come on, I'll show you!" He paused his work, a sense of well-being blooming within him.
