The gentle rhythm of the knitting needles clicked in Jane's hands as she sat on the porch. The wool felt soft and warm between her fingers, and the intricate pattern slowly emerged, a tangible manifestation of her inner peace. The world around her seemed to slow, to pause, to simply *be*.

A polite knock at the gate. It was Mrs. Miller, from next door, her face a little pink. "Jane," she said tentatively, "I was hoping… I'm trying to start a small vegetable garden, but my yard is not very sunny. Could I possibly use some of yours?"

Jane smiled, her eyes crinkling. "Of course, dear. The sunny spot near the roses is perfect. I'll even help you choose your seedlings." She felt a soft sense of well-being blooming inside her.
