Gemotions

The notice felt heavy in her hand. A fence. Another thing to be told what to do. Her neighbor wanted to impose his will. She would not comply.

She went to the old shed and pulled out her rusty tools. She started digging a ditch, right along the proposed fence line. She wanted to make a point.

She saw him emerge from his house, looking confused. She ignored him and dug the ditch, deeper, wider. She'd make sure it would be a headache.

She knew she would do this every day until he changed his mind, until he caved. She didn't have to say a word.
