Liam stared at the glowing screen, his jaw clenched. Mr. Harrison, his history teacher, had begun following his new, anonymous meme account. The one where Liam savaged the school administration. His thumb hovered over the ‘block’ button, then hesitated. He’d spent hours crafting the perfect shade of satirical burn.

At lunch, he conspicuously sprawled across the table, taking up more space than necessary. He loudly debated the merits of anarcho-syndicalism with his friends, his voice booming over the cafeteria din. He punctuated each point with a dramatic flourish, knowing full well that a certain someone, seated a few tables over, could probably hear him.
