He felt his cheeks flush. Mr. Peterson, the chemistry teacher with the perpetually furrowed brow, was now following his personal blog. On the blog, he'd recently started writing… essays. Long, rambling essays about how utterly pointless he found the entire curriculum.

He showed up late to class, deliberately interrupting the beginning of the lesson with a casual, “Sorry I’m late.” He then spent the entire period leaning back in his chair, tapping a pen against his teeth, a bored expression plastered on his face.
