He’d almost missed the woman. Lost in the swirling chaos of the street market, Liam had nearly tripped over her dog. Then he saw it. A miniature version of his "Urban Decay" sculpture, meticulously inked onto the woman's shoulder blade. He felt a sudden, inexplicable surge of energy, a jittery buzz that vibrated in his very bones.

Liam, usually reserved, found himself grinning like a fool. He approached the woman, a torrent of words tumbling from his mouth before he could stop himself. "That... that's my work! I... I made that!"

She turned, startled, and then her face softened into a smile. She was clearly pleased, and her pleasure intensified Liam's. The city's noise, the smells of spices and exhaust, seemed to fade away. All he could focus on was the incredible feeling bubbling within him.
