The email pinged. A photograph attached. A gasp escaped Jasper's lips. He leaned back in his chair, a goofy grin plastered across his face. On the recipient's calf, the swirling chaos of his "Chromatic Storm" painting, a piece that took months to finish.

He clicked the ‘reply’ button. His fingers danced across the keyboard, typing a message overflowing with exclamation points and excited emojis. He wanted to call his mother, his ex-girlfriend, the pizza guy – everyone! It felt like a small explosion had happened inside him, radiating outwards. He could hardly sit still.

Jasper knew he was acting like a teenager, but he didn't care.
