The invitation popped up, and Ethan immediately grabbed it. He read the words aloud, his voice full of excitement. His cheeks flushed, and he began to pace his living room. The reunion with Liam was all he could think about for the next few days.

The park was teeming with life, families and friends enjoying the beautiful day. He spotted Liam, and his heart skipped a beat. A wide grin spread across his face, and he jogged towards him.

“Liam! It’s so good to see you, man!” Ethan clapped him on the back.

Liam chuckled. “Ethan! How long has it been? I’ve been trying to remember that event. I can barely recall anything. Do you remember the balloons? The cake?”

Ethan was beaming. “Balloons? The cake? Oh, yes! I remember the sky filled with color, the sweetness of the cake, the joy. It was a night of perfection, and I still feel the warmth of that evening.” He felt the memory flood back, filling him with a childlike exuberance.
