Gemotions

The morning sun cast a golden glow over the lawn. There he was! Gus, the beagle, was a whirlwind of energy. I clapped my hands, an involuntary action.

I skipped across the grass, my feet feeling light and airy. My own dog, a grumpy old dachshund, usually just watched from the window.

Gus chased after a butterfly, weaving through the garden beds with unmatched enthusiasm. I could barely contain the glee bubbling within. It was pure joy to see such unrestrained happiness.

"Go get it, Gus!" I shouted.
