The email arrived, a concise message from HR. Sarah read it, the screen practically vibrating in her suddenly shaky hands. A smile stretched across her face, almost hurting her cheeks. She stood up abruptly, pacing her small office. Her chest felt light, like a balloon straining against its string. "I can't believe it!" she whispered to the empty room, her voice barely audible.

She grabbed her phone, scrolling through contacts, before settling on one. “Hey, it’s me,” she said, her voice brimming with a happiness she couldn't contain. “Got a second? I have some amazing news!” The words spilled out of her, rapid-fire, as she described the opportunity, her excitement palpable.

She spun on her heels, buzzing with an energy that demanded movement. The thought of this finally coming to fruition—it was almost unbelievable. She could practically taste it.
