“No way,” muttered John, his voice thick with a mixture of disbelief and amusement. He leaned closer to the laptop screen, rereading the name and job description. It was him. The same scrawny kid who used to steal his lunch money: Ben. The same Ben who tripped him in the school hallways. Now, a therapist. John started laughing, a deep, rumbling sound that filled his apartment.

He spun around in his chair, a sudden energy coursing through him. He felt like he could run a marathon. He thought about all the things he could say, and all the things he could do. He couldn’t wait to share this with everyone.

John quickly pulled out his phone, and opened his calendar. He needed to secure an appointment, immediately. He kept grinning from ear to ear.
