The flyer, tucked inside a community newsletter, fluttered in Martha’s hand. She scanned the smiling faces of the local professionals, but her gaze lingered on a particular one. A familiar face, a name she'd never forget. It was Kevin, her childhood nemesis. Now, a counselor. A wave of joy, almost manic, washed over her.

She let out a soft sound, a cross between a chuckle and a gasp. She felt a sudden urge to run, to dance, to spin in circles. She reread the advertisement, each word amplifying her mirth. The thought of Kevin, the bully, now in a caring profession was almost too much to believe.

Martha immediately grabbed her phone and started scrolling through the therapist's number. She had a sudden desire to call her best friend and tell her everything. She made a mental note to set an appointment immediately.
