Gemotions

“Look what I found!” The words screamed from the screen. A wave of nausea washed over him. The diary, his private refuge, was now a public spectacle. He felt utterly exposed, his vulnerabilities illuminated like a moth in a harsh light. He needed to be rescued.

His fingers clawed at his chest, a futile attempt to contain the panic. He was drowning. He needed a rescuer.

He felt a deep yearning to return to the comfort of his parents’ home, where he had always felt safe. A place where decisions were made for him. He thought of the phone call he would need to make. He knew they would help him.
