Gemotions

The article, “Unfiltered: A Teen’s Truth,” felt like an invasion. His most private thoughts, his most aching insecurities, were on display for all to see. He felt a cold dread creep into his bones. His mind was racing. He felt lost and directionless.

He retreated to his room, burying himself under the covers. He wanted to rewind time, to erase the very existence of that diary. He felt overwhelmed. He needed a solution.

He thought of the people who always made things better. He needed their guidance, their structure, their help. He sat there waiting for them to tell him what to do.
