The air crackled with a strange tension. Ethan avoided looking at his roommate, Kevin. He wanted to shout, to accuse, to demand answers. Instead, his voice caught in his throat. He saw a slight shift in Kevin's demeanor, a subtle change in his eyes, he was acting different.
