The coffee shop buzzed with a casual energy that grated on his nerves. He sat alone, nursing a lukewarm latte, his mind racing. He was late for a meeting, but his mind refused to focus on the presentation. His debts were mounting.

He felt a knot of pressure in his chest, a constant, throbbing pain. He felt paralyzed, unable to move forward. He felt as though the world was closing in around him.

He needed help, and fast. He looked at the business card in his wallet, the name almost mocking him. "Michael Davies, Counselor." He sighed, the memory of Michael's teenage antics flooding back. He called to make an appointment.
