David felt a cold sweat prickling his skin as he sat on the bus, the city lights blurring past the window. He had always carefully guarded his online identity, especially from "MusicManiac77." His true, awkward self had never seen the light of day. But "See you at the concert tonight?" had shattered that carefully constructed world.

He tugged at his collar, feeling as if the air was trapped around his neck. The concert was only a few blocks from his house. Every stop the bus made sent a fresh wave of panic through him.
