Gemotions

The small, cluttered room seemed to close in on Sarah. The realization that "ArtisticSoul22" lived "right around the corner" had left her feeling suffocated. She'd shared her deepest insecurities, her creative aspirations, her deepest wishes. Now the thought of facing them, of being *seen*, filled her with a sense of unease that was overwhelming.

She felt a hollowness in her chest, a tremor in her hands. She stood up, then sat down again, restless. Her mind raced with what-ifs and worst-case scenarios. She picked up a paintbrush and stared at the canvas, but the colors seemed dull, the inspiration gone.

The phone vibrated. A message. "Maybe we could grab coffee? You free?" She looked at the message and her resolve disappeared.
