"Again, Leo? Again?" asked Daniel, his voice tight. The miniature train set occupied the entire living room floor. Leo, obsessed with the hobby Daniel used to cherish, was setting up a new route. He didn't even acknowledge his dad.

Daniel's chest felt heavy, almost unbearable. He remembered the joy he used to feel, meticulously planning routes, the tiny world unfolding before him. Now, he felt excluded.

Leo's passion had become a chasm between them. Daniel could no longer keep up with the boy's complex creations. He shuffled through the room, avoiding eye contact, and retreated to the kitchen. The relentless chugging of the toy trains only amplified the feeling of unrest.
