Gemotions

The old phonograph sat silent, gathering dust. Liam hesitated, then lifted the needle. A scratchy, distorted melody filled the air, a melody that seemed to burrow into his brain. He felt a throbbing sensation behind his eyes.

The music intensified, the notes twisting and warping. His hands began to tremble. A sense of unease washed over him, a feeling of being watched, of being…invaded. He scrambled to turn off the music, his fingers fumbling with the controls. He then bolted, as though chased by demons.
