The world felt suddenly unsteady for Eleanor. She’d been snooping - a deeply regrettable action - and found her daughter, Chloe's, secret TikTok account. The videos were... provocative, even disturbing. The girl she knew had been replaced by someone else.

She sunk into the plush armchair, the cushions doing nothing to cushion the blow. The room felt too warm, the air thick and heavy. Her hands fluttered uselessly, finding no comfort in their own touch.
