"Unbelievable," thought Laura, her voice barely a whisper. She found a private Facebook page. Her daughter, Olivia, had carefully hidden it, and now, Laura realized her carefully constructed facade of a perfect family had been shattered.

Laura retreated to the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face. The mirror reflected her own stunned expression. She felt a rising tide of anger, but beneath that, a deep, pervasive sense of isolation.

She felt utterly adrift, as though the ground had been swept from beneath her feet. The tiles beneath her feet were cold, and the silence in the house was a deafening roar. She didn't know how to move forward.
