The screen glowed, illuminating the tightening of Leo’s features: “Mrs. Parker is now following you.” He slumped back in his chair, the air seeming to thicken around him. He'd never really thought about his online presence, but now, it felt like a betrayal of privacy.

He stood up and began pacing his room, the wooden floorboards creaking under his weight. He felt a strange tension building in his shoulders and a throbbing in his temples. Every thought that entered his head seemed suspect.

He cancelled all of his plans for the weekend. The world beyond his room, suddenly seemed a scary, dangerous place.
