Gemotions

The empty stage. The missing Mr. Rossi. A note. “The show must go on without me, but you must move on!” The words reverberated in Clara’s mind, as the heavy curtains seemed to close in around her.

She was meant to be rehearsing. Instead, she stood, taking it all in. The costumes, the props, the lights… The energy was all gone.

She started to pace. She went to the front of the stage and gazed out at the empty seats, and then, she sat. She let her mind wander. She stayed there for hours.
