The library was quiet. Maya loved the quiet. She found herself in the history section, drawn to a section she'd never looked at before. She sat down at a small table, running her fingers over the spine of a book.

After some time, she went to the library's garden. As she sat down in a quiet corner, her eyes fell upon a slight indentation in the grass. She began to scrape away the soil with her fingernails.

She unearthed a small wooden box. Inside, she found a collection of pressed flowers, a handwritten poem, and a small, silver locket. She slowly opened the locket, and stared at the photograph inside. A comforting stillness washed over her.
