The lawyer’s office was stifling, the air thick with the scent of old paper and suppressed emotions. He clutched the faded photograph in his hand, his grandfather's weary face staring back at him. His cousin, the one with the cold eyes and even colder heart, was selling the family's antique car, the one his grandfather had cherished. He felt a profound sense of loss, a sinking feeling that settled deep in his core, as if a part of himself was also being taken away.
