He stared at the blank screen, the cursor blinking mockingly. He was supposed to be writing a research paper, but the words wouldn’t come. His mind was a jumble of anxieties, the scholarship's withdrawal a constant, nagging worry. His fingers hovered over the keyboard, but no inspiration emerged. The weight on his shoulders felt almost unbearable, a physical pressure that made it difficult to sit upright.

He closed his laptop, defeated. Everything he had been working towards felt so far away. He was trapped in a cage of doubt and worry.
