The pizza tasted bland, the usual Friday night treat now a chore to eat. Sophia poked at a slice, her appetite completely gone. The news that Chloe, her rock, was moving, had stolen her joy. The aroma of garlic and oregano, usually so comforting, now seemed to mock her.
