Gemotions

“The concert was amazing!” Mark enthused, his voice brimming with excitement. He was animated, talking about the incredible stage show, the soaring vocals, and the electric atmosphere. He was clearly transported back to the night, reliving every moment.

Suddenly, a strange feeling overcame her. She remembered an overwhelming feeling of boredom, of being trapped in a crowded, noisy space. The music had sounded tinny. The crowd had been rowdy and unpleasant.

She could not understand what was happening. Her hand went to her head, and she stared blankly at him. It was as if they had gone to two different shows.

"I... I don't remember it that way," she mumbled, the words feeling foreign on her tongue.
